## In one sentence

Alaska's public bids are scattered across federal systems, a state notice feed, and dozens of borough, utility, school district, and tribal sites. AK RFP Hub reads all of them every morning and matches each one to what a contractor actually does.

## The problem

A job an Alaska contractor should be bidding is sitting on a borough procurement page they do not check. There is no single place to look: SAM.gov and Grants.gov cover federal, the state runs its own notice feed, and everything else is a patchwork of municipal portals, utility co-ops, school districts, regional housing authorities, and tribal health organizations, each with its own format and its own idea of what a bid notice looks like.

The national databases that claim to solve this are built for billion-dollar primes and match on NAICS codes, which drags in everything adjacent and nothing specific. The free portals are real but partial. Either way, somebody at a small shop is opening twenty tabs on a Monday morning.

## What was built

An ingest layer that reads more than 30 Alaska sources (federal, state, borough, city, utility, school district and tribal) and normalizes wildly different notice formats into one structured opportunity record.

Capability matching instead of keyword matching. A contractor describes their shop once, in plain language, and the system builds a profile of what they do. Every open opportunity is read against that profile and labeled, from likely fit to not a fit.

The ones judged unlikely stay on the page, in a list of everything that was checked, so a contractor can see what was ruled out as well as what was kept.

Decision cards that reduce an eighty-page solicitation to scope, dollars, due date, bonding, and wage rules. Plus a map of Alaska with every open job pinned.
